Safety, Loss Control and Risk Management Consulting and Training
The WCLA, Inc., Safety Department offers members assistance in meeting all Department of L & I safety and Department of Transportation motor carrier regulations.
We offer on-going training in first aid and pilot escort vehicle operator certification. Training on defensive driving, logging hazard recognition, cutting safety, DOT rules and other topics is also available upon request.
We will work with you to develop a fleet safety program and L & I required programs such as accident prevention, hazard communication, hearing conservation and lockout/tagout.
We provide on-site safety audits to help you identify and eliminate safety and health hazards which could either result in an accident, or be in violation of state safety standards and result in a citation from the Department of Labor & Industries. As a WCLA, Inc., member, the safety audits are free.
We also work closely with the WCLA, Inc., AFCCRRG and the Claims Management Program to reduce risks and minimize losses and claims. It’s all part of our commitment to helping you provide a safer workplace and control your insurance costs.
